(UPDATED) Red flag surf conditions: Dangerous surf

PANAMA CITY BEACH - The Bay County Sheriff's Office Beach Patrol has reported that current surf conditions as of 1:12 p.m. are a high hazard. Red flags are now flying along Bay County beaches, indicating high waves and dangerous currents, including possible rip currents. Swimmers are highly cautioned.  

Conditions may change at any time. For updated information on surf conditions, call the Panama City Beach Police Department's non-emergency number, 233-5000.
