The right time for a wedding

Capturing the memories of your special day will be one of the most important decisions in planning you perfect weddings. Are there special photographs you would like? Do you have a budget in mind? What time of day is best for the wedding photos?

Make a list of special photographs and share them with your photographer before the wedding day. Tear out pictures from magazine that appeal to you. They will help you tell the story of your special day. A professional photographer will know what candid and posed shots should be taken. Working with your photographer in this way will insure perfect wedding pictures.

Have a photography budget set. This will allow your photographer to tell you how much time they will be able to spend with you. The photographs that are taken during the ceremony and reception capture all the emotions and personality of your special day. Allow enough time after the ceremony to get pictures of your family and friends. You will cherish these memories forever.

Timing is everything; time of day makes a big difference on how your beach wedding photos will look.

Morning weddings are good. The beaches are not as crowded. Though the lighting may not be the best, the earlier the better.

Mid afternoon weddings can have some lighting issues. This time of the day is when the sun is the brightest. You may have problems with shadows, and the brightness of the sun can hurt your eyes. A suggestion to help avoid squinting when these pictures are taken is to close your eyes and have your photographer count to 3.

Late afternoon and sunset weddings usually make more the best photographs. The sun setting over our emerald coast beaches makes for a perfect background. Professional photographers will know the time of sunset.

Keep in mind these suggestions when planning your wedding and choosing your photographer. Professional photographers will work with any budget.
