4th of July Celebration

PANAMA CITY, FL - Pier Park invites Panama City to its 4th of July Celebration from noon-9 p.m. Mayor Oberst will kick off the festivities, followed by an F-15 flyover.

The day of family fun includes friendly competitions for patriotic pet costume, golf cart decorating and sidewalk chalk art contests, with awards presented to each winner. Adults will be able to show their prowess with hot dog eating, wing eating and watermelon seed spitting contests.

Nine bands will be spread throughout the property, with country music star Mark Chesnutt headlining at the Pier Park Amphitheatre. Families are invited to enjoy a dazzling fireworks display at dark.
