Memorial Poker Run

PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL - A Memorial Poker Run has been organized on June 27 to assist the family of John Wayne Dixon, a local real estate agent and motorcycle enthusiast, who recently passed away .

The event begins at The VFW in Beach Commerce Park with a Scrambled Egg Breakfast from 8-1030 a.m. A $5 donation is requested for the meal. Cards open 9-11:30 a.m.

Other stops include:

Out Post - 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Katmandu's 'The Buoy Bar' - 12-2:30 p.m.
Red Door - 2-3:30 p.m.
Newby's - 3-4:30 p.m.

A $10 donation is asked per hand. Raffles and giveaways will be held throughout the day.

An account has also been set up at BBT Bank in Panama City Beach. Donations can be made to the John Dixon Memorial Fund. Call Cindy McClain Schwartz at (850) 636-2980 for more information.
