Second Sunday

PANAMA CITY, FL - Second Sunday, at 2-3 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Historic McKenzie House, 17 E.Third Court, will feature author Norma Hubbard, who will be sharing historical information about one of Bay County’s earliest settlers, John Clark (a Georgia governor from 1819 to 1823) who came to St. Andrews Bay about 1827.

She also will discuss Andrew Jackson as Jackson and Clark were best of friends from early childhood. She will discuss how Clark and his wife died in 1832 and were initially buried on property along what is now West Beach Drive. Light refreshments.
