Ninth Annual Jazz-by-the-Bay Festival

PANAMA CITY - The Ninth Annual Jazz-by-the-Bay Festival kicks off at 6 p.m. on Oct. 16 and at noon Oct. 17 at Oaks-By-the-Bay Park in the historic St. Andrews neighborhood of Panama City between 10th Street and Beck Avenue.

The festival will feature noted jazz artists playing a variety of jazz styles including mainstream, classic, Dixieland, and Latin. Fest ‘09 headliners include J.B. Scott/Lisa Kelly Swinging All-Stars (Jacksonville); Longineu Parsons Quintet (Tallahassee); Jazz vocalist Giacomo Gates (New York City, NY);Victor Payano Quartet (Orlando).

Admission is free.
