SCHEDULE: Halloween Events for all ages

Adults only:

HALLOWEEN BASH 2009: 8 p.m. Oct. 31 at Spinnaker Beach Club in Panama City Beach, benefiting the Toys for Kids Foundation. Theme: Rise of Isabella, Empress of the Vampire. Entertainment by Josh Cramoy Band in the Rock Arena. Costume contest with pre-judging at 11:45 p.m.; finals at 12:45 a.m.; more than $1,500 in cash and prizes for top three costumes, plus prizes for sexiest costume. Cocktails: $2 domestic beer 8-10 p.m.; $2 Bacardi Bat Bites all night. Tickets: $10 for ages 21 and up; $20 under 21. Advance tickets at Spinnaker Beach Club and at Toysforkidsfoundation.org

NIGHT OF THE DEAD: D. J. Harry will return to Alys Beach on Oct. 30 to perform at the second annual Noche de los Muertos – or “Night of the Dead” – adult costume party and dance. This year there will be $500 in prizes to award for the beat costumes. The costume party will be held at Caliza Pool in Alys Beach, ran or shine, from 8 p.m. -midnight. Cash bars will be available and costumes are required. The party is for guests ages 21 and older. Party tickets can be purchased for $20 online at www.alysbeachevents.ticketleap.com, or at the door for $30. Major credit cards accepted. On Oct. 23, Alys Beach will also host the 3rd Annual Howl-O-Ween and Pet Parade benefiting Alaqua Animal Refuge (www.aarflorida.com). The fun family-and-pet-friendly event will be held from 4-6 p.m. at Fonville Press. Show up in a costume with a four-legged friend and compete for the Best Owner Dog Duo Award. The winners receive a goodie bag filled with all sorts of dog and human goodies. Raffle tickets for another goodie bag will also be sold to support Alaqua. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20. ‘SPOOKTACULAR’: AN ART SHOW BY CANDLELIGHT: 8 p.m. to midnight Oct. 30. Blood and Guts Buffet off a real body, Tarot readings, music and adult-themed art. (The last day for art submissions is Saturday, Oct. 24, from noon to 5 p.m. Any size, any medium; up to 5 pieces accepted with $10 submission fee.) Come in costume; not required. MALLOWEEN: 6-7:30 p.m. Oct. 31 at Pier Park in Panama City Beach. Come in costume to trick-or-treat at stores. Register for children’s costume contest and get photo taken at welcome center through Oct. 29; judging at 6 p.m. Oct. 31. Prizes will be awarded for first and second prize in three age groups (2-4, 5-7 and 8-10).

HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL AND HAUNTED TRAIL: Festival is 6-9 p.m. Oct. 30 at Unity Church of Panama City, 1764 Lisenby Ave., Panama City. Moon Bounce, games and activities, costume contest, prizes, food, face painting and cake walk. The Haunted Trail is for all ages from 7-10 p.m. Oct 30-31. SCHOONERS: 6-8 p.m. Oct. 30. Kids and adults invited to bring carved pumpkins from home to enter Jack O Lantern Carving Contest at Schooners, 5121 Gulf Drive Panama City Beach. Prizes and awards for best Halloween theme and best Beach theme; $300 first prize, $200 second prize, $100 third prize to best overall. Judging starts at 8 p.m. Annual Schooners Halloween Bash is Oct. 31 with costume contest at 9:30 p.m.; $300 first place $200 second and $100 third. Band Arizona plays all weekend. ZOOBOO 2009: 5-8 p.m. Oct. 31; last admittance at 7:30 p.m. at Zoo World, 9008 Front Beach Road, Panama City Beach. (Use the lighted crosswalk provided by the Thomas Drive Fire Department when crossing Front Beach Road.) Free trick-or-treating, costume contests. For the safety of the animals, many will be put up for the night, however there will still be some on display. More info: www.zooworldpcb.net

TRICK-OR-TREATING IN SEASIDE: Go door-to-door around the shops and restaurants at Seaside on Oct. 31. Make creepy crafts from 2–5 p.m. Games, contests and entertainment from 4–6 p.m. Amphitheater hosts 30A Radio who will be spinning terrifying tunes from the stage all afternoon and join Seaside REP actors reading spooky stories. Haunted Hayride will travel through Seaside; pick up behind Heavenly Shortcakes on Quincy Circle. Children’s costume contest, photos. Details: www.seasidefl.com.

MALL-O-WEEN: 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31 Panama City Mall. Trick or treating for children 12 and under, along with parents or guardians, at participating retailers while supplies last. Full-face masks may not be worn by anyone over age 12.

HALLOWEEN PARTY AT YANA CLUB: 7-11pm Oct. 31 at 8715 Laird, Panama City Beach. Food, costume contest, dancing; all ages. Details: 850-230-1821
