SANTA ROSA BEACH —All summer, YOLO Boards has held a pair of race series at Watercolor Resort and Baytowne Marina. The final event at each location is coming up on Thursday. Here are results for the most recent heat:
YOLO BOARD RACE SERIES
More than 100 stand up paddlers competed in teams of three and four in the third race of the 2012 YOLO Board Race Series, presented by Destin Real Estate Company. The final race event is set for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, where overall series winners of each division will be crowned at the WaterColor BoatHouse on Western Lake.

MILEAGE BUILDER SERIES
Area standup paddlers competed in a 3-mile distance race on a warm morning for the third race of YOLO Board Mileage Builder Series on Saturday, July 21, at the Baytowne Marina in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Presented by Sandestin Real Estate and the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, the Mileage Builder Series features four monthly races from May to August that increase by one-mile increments and feature individual competition.
The finale four-mile race event is set for Thursday, Aug. 9, and will also include a bonus one-mile race. Top three finishers in each division for the July 21 event included:
