PIRATE’S ISLAND ADVENTURE GOLF
9518 Front Beach Road, Panama City Beach, 235-1171, PiratesIslandGolf.com
Miniature golf is a swashbuckling adventure at Pirate’s Island Adventure Golf, which gained national recognition when the Obama family visited in 2010. It has long been a staple in Panama City Beach.
It has two 18-hole golf courses, a cave, three waterfalls and fog to keep the adventure spirit alive. The course terrain is full of bumps to make the courses more difficult and the game interesting. The obstacles throughout are placed in specific spots in order to add depth to the course.
There is a jail cell in the cave, Davey Jones’ locker, hanging pirates and ship masts throughout. In addition, something on the course is updated every year in order to bring a new experience to the returning visitor.
