SEASIDE — In the realm of area wedding venues, the Seaside Interfaith Chapel ranks among the top for its architectural beauty and idyllic setting. In the past, chapel use for weddings had been limited to people who rented or owned properties in the South Walton planned community.

Since January, the Homeowner’s Collection contracted with a new rental management company that opened the venue rental to destination and local brides alike.

“We are not in the wedding business. We work with wedding planners in the area,” said Amy Wise-Coble, general manager with the team brought together by the Homeowner’s Collection.

“The chapel’s primary purpose will be to provide a place of worship for Seaside and the entire community,” Wise-Coble also said, noting that the use of the chapel now serves a wider audience for weddings and other events or occasions.

In keeping with its original purpose, weekly worship takes place in the chapel on Sundays under the leadership of Pastor Gary Wingo.

The Homeowner’s Collection consists of Seaside homeowners dedicated to providing quality hospitality services for guests of its cottages located within the town.

Use of the chapel is based on availability. Reservations for the chapel can be made through the Homeowner’s Collection.
